K-Ramic chemically formed ceramic coatings are the only all - ceramic coatings which can be applied to pump wet end parts. They can be coated on the inside of the pump casings and impellers to overcome corrosion and abrasion.

Stainless steel impellers cost approximately three times the price of cast iron impellers. Ceramic coated cast iron impellers perform as well as stainless steel impellers but are less expensive. You can save money and increase performance

K-Ramic chemically formed ceramic coatings can solve corrosion and abrasion in chemical process pumps and valves  handling variety of chemical fluids like

Solid ceramic plungers crack under sudden heating and cooling. These can be cost effectively substituted by K-Ramic chemically formed ceramic coated stainless steel plungers. The coated plungers have excellent thermal shock resistance. They can be heated and quenched in cold water without risk of cracking.

K-Ramic chemically bonded ceramic coatings can be done on stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, etc.

The life increase is dramatic. Life increase in excess of 10 times compared to uncoated parts have been reported.
